Privacy policy

The short version

This is a static website. It does not set advertising cookies, it does not build a profile of you, and it does not sell anything to anyone. If you fill in the contact form, the details go to us so we can reply to you, and that is all they are used for.

What we collect

When you contact us. The name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, service area and message you type into the form on the contact page, or send to us by email.

When you browse. Standard server logs held by our host, which include IP address, browser type and the pages requested. If website analytics are running, they record aggregate visit data. We do not use analytics to identify individual people.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry, to run any audit you have asked for, and to deliver services if you become a client. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list without you asking, and we do not sell or rent them to anybody.

Who else sees it

Our email provider and our website host, as a necessary part of delivering the message and serving the page. If you become a client, the platforms needed to do the work, such as Google Ads or Google Search Console, using accounts held in your name.

We will disclose information where the law requires it. Otherwise, no.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within two years. Client records are held for as long as the engagement runs and for seven years afterwards, which is the period Canadian business records are normally retained for.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@nextscaledigital.com and we will action it within thirty days.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so loading a page makes no request to anyone else. If analytics are enabled, they may set a first-party cookie to distinguish repeat visits, with IP anonymisation on and advertising signals off. Nothing here is used for advertising.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting existing clients will be sent by email rather than left here to be discovered.
